Ali Ross

Ali Ross is a rarity in Ashland………a true native.

Born and raised here, Ali has remained active in the community throughout her life. A past president of the Lithia Springs Rotary Club, she was one of the founding members of the club’s annual Crabfest, an event originally intended to help the city come back after a devastating flood in 1997. The event is now targeted towards providing scholarships and grants for youth in our community.

Ali is also past president of both the Ashland Board of Realtors, and the Helman School PTA. She has been involved with the Kidney Foundation for more than 30 years (she is a kidney transplant recipient), and Relay For Life/cancer research, having lost several family members and close friends to this disease.

Ali began her real estate career in 1982 with Gateway Real Estate, and has remained with the firm for more than three decades because of its high ethical standards and professionalism. She served as the company’s branch manager for five years during a very turbulent time in the real estate industry. “I have seen the market change many times over the years and listened to speculation about the future,” says Ali, “but one thing is for sure. People will always need a place to live, and they will benefit greatly by having an experienced professional help them through the process of buying a home.”

Ali has served in all aspects of the real estate business, having dealt in the following areas: Residential, commercial buildings, income property, businesses, first time home owners, rural property, development land, and residential building lots. Ali has many accreditations, the latest being Eco Broker. She finds that learning the new green ways of building and how to improve an existing home to reduce energy costs is an interesting aspect of the business.

Ali is also an avid golfer, and enjoys cooking…..when time allows between enjoying time with her grandkids and attending their various sporting activities.
