In 1994, I made the move to Southern Oregon. I searched the entire Oregon coast and the Interstate-5 corridor looking for the right place to call home. I ultimately found the home and “lifestyle” I was looking for in the Rogue Valley community of Ashland, Oregon. What a wonderful town and beautiful area! There were just so many things that “added up.” For my son and daughter, the level of education offered was and is impressive. I discovered that the weather in the Rogue Valley offered four distinct, yet mild, picturesque seasons. It was also discovered that sporting and recreation opportunities are everywhere you look. Another important aspect is that health care is local and state of the art. And the enormous list of culturally rich aspects and natural amenities of this area were soon recognized too.

Prior to becoming an Ashland Realtor, I had a 20 year career as a residential general building contractor specializing in new construction, additions, and custom remodeling. I have now been a full time, professional Ashland real estate agent and broker at Gateway Real Estate since 1996. Knowing the “home product,” understanding people’s “wants and needs,” and having a desire to help in every way has been a tremendous asset to my clients… and perhaps the key to my success as a Real Estate Broker today.
