Helen Whitcomb

My professional life has always involved the home. One of the keys to my success as a Real Estate Broker is that I have lived here in Ashland since 1994.I know this beautiful valley and the people that live and work here.

I was born and raised in Derbyshire, England and somehow along the meandering paths of a life well lived I landed here with my husband and made roots. My degree is in Home Economics from the University of Bath, England. I have a keen eye for design, style and the importance of the aesthetic appeal of one’s dwelling place.

I am a person who enjoys people and appreciates the need for finding exactly the right place to call “home” and the right spot within that place to feel safe, secure, and nurtured.

My life outside of work involves my family and friends, cycling, hiking, reading, movies, music, and food! The care within our community is something that I cherish. We look after one another!

A favorite writer of mine sums up my feelings about the inherent importance of home in the following words:
